We held our summer fair and it was very well supported and great fun was had by all.
The children have enjoyed Sports Days this week. We have been very lucky with the weather! Cotehele won the KS1 event and Saltram won the KS2 event. Well done to all the children..
The children in Years 1 and 2 have had a fantastic term learning about The Great Fire of London. In their classes they made a replica model of the houses that were lost including the bakery where the fire started and the River Thames which is where many people escaped the fire. The model was set up in the playground where it caught fire which actually showed the devastation it caused all those years ago.
The children at Pennycross enjoyed a great day Friday 20th March as they came to school dressed as their superhero and really enjoyed the solar partial eclipse.
The children have enjoyed a wonderful World Book Day, we had some very creative costumes. Well Done.
Pennycross has Talent- Miss Lydon organised a Talent Show, it was amazing everyone really enjoyed it.
Years 1 and 2 have enjoyed their Christmas Party.
Years 3,4 and 5 have put on an amazing production of Jack and the Beanstalk. The children have worked so hard and that shows in the stunning performance.
We have held our Christmas Fayre which was enjoyed by everyone. This year we combined our Fayre with Enterprise week and the children made some amazing items to sell.
Travelling Tuba Workshop
The whole school really enjoyed watching, listening and taking part in the amazing Travelling Tuba Workshop.

We held a Remembrance Service on the 11th November which our Heroes children led.It was a very well attended occasion.
Year 2 had a visit from our local Fire Brigade.
Mrs Slade organised a Macmillan Cancer Support Big Coffee Morning on September 26th 2014.
