Road safety assembly

Be Safe Be Seen!

On Monday 5th October Antony Jinman (a polar explorer) visited Years 5/6. He led an assembly about his solo trek to the South Pole.

This was followed by a session on the clothing needed in Antarctica.

In class, the children learnt about insulation by making a 'blubber glove'.

They also made mountains out of plasticine covered by cornflower glaciers.
