Actual Salary: £12,290 (Grade C)
We are looking to strengthen our experienced team and require a dedicated and flexible Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in a Key Stage 1 class on a 1:1 basis. Experience of early development, knowledge of children with learning difficulties, experience of complex behaviour and autistic spectrum conditions are required. An appropriate qualification at Level 2 is essential and/or Level 3 is desirable.
In the first instance, this post will be classed as temporary as it is a 1:1 position for as long as the pupil remains at the school.
The post requires a talented Teaching Assistant who is enthusiastic, patient and calm. The successful candidate will also need to be able to work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo as well as work on their own initiative.

· Be able to also work consistently well independently or as part of a team
· Be able to draw upon positive behaviour management strategies
· Be creative and able to play an active role in building a safe and happy learning environment with the child’s well-being and progress at heart.
