Year Two
Welcome to Year 2's home learning page. Below you will find some activities and websites to help support your child's learning at home. We would also encourage you to read and enjoy books with your child as much as possible.
We thought it might be helpful to provide you with a sample lockdown home learning timetable. In your family, you might decide to work really hard in the mornings and then in the afternoon have some free time. It is of course fine to structure your day differently and find a structure that suits your child and family as we recognise families have other commitments at this time. The timetable is provided as a guide.
When we plan activities for the children, we try and provide one English and Maths lesson a day for you to complete. We then plan some Topic and Science activities for your child to complete. Ideally, we would like your child to complete a RWInc phonics lesson, practise 3-5 spellings a day and read or share a book with you daily.
